Creating Exquisite Papercut Artwork with Spider X1

Hello everyone! Today, I’m excited to share with you how to create exquisite papercut artwork using the cardboard from the Spider X1 Materials Pack. This process is both fun and creative, allowing you to produce stunning art pieces regardless of your engraving experience. In this post, I will guide you through the step-by-step process to help you embark on your creative journey.

Steps:

 

1. Download the design file: First, you can download the dxf file we provide at the bottom of this article, or you can find your favorite paper-cut design on the Internet. Make sure the design you choose matches your creative vision.

2. Set Engraving Parameters: Import the downloaded DXF file into the lightburn. Then set the Lightburn parameters.

Speed: 1500mm/min

Power: 50%

Working mode: line

 

3.Prepare the Materials: Secure the cardboard onto the working platform of the engraving machine. Make sure the cardboard is flat and stable to prevent any accidents during the engraving process.

4.Start Engraving: Follow the instructions in the software and set up the engraving machine according to the design. Begin the engraving process, maintaining focus throughout to ensure smooth operation.

5.Remove the Engraved cardboard: Once the engraving is complete, carefully remove the cardboard with the design. Inspect the details and quality of the engraving, making any necessary adjustments if needed.

 

6.Paste the Engraved cardboard: According to your design, sequentially paste the engraved cardboard onto the chosen background cardboard. Use an adequate amount of adhesive to secure them in place. Ensure each piece is properly aligned and firmly attached.

7.Finishing Touch: Allow the adhesive to fully dry, and your exquisite papercut artwork is complete! Display it, give it meaning, or consider it as an excellent gift option.
